Pressed Flower Workshop1.30pm – 4.00pm

Immerse yourself in the wonder of seasonal flowers, learning how to preserve their beauty with the tradional craft of flower pressing.
With a welcome drink in hand, watch whilst Rainy demonstrates how to press flowers successfully using both a traditional flower press and items readily available at home.
Using your knowledge from the demonstration, we will walk the flower field, [weather depending] and each cut a bunch of flowers. These flowers will be taken home with you to to enjoy and press at home. If the weather is fowl, Rainy will have flowers cut ready for when you arrive.
Back inside we’ll use pre pressed flowers to create a design. Choose from gift cards, gift tags, floral art to be framed, seasonal decorations etc. Lots of examples will be available to inspire you.
Hot / cold drinks and homemade cake is included.
You will take home your own freshly cut bunch of flowers, the pressed flower creations you have made, plus the knowledge to create pressed flowers successfully at home.
This workshop is held at Cherry Tree Flower Farm in Ainsworth. The full address will be sent to you about a week before the workshop.
