In this class you’ll learn how to incorporate pressed flowers into your stained glass pieces. For this workshop your flowers will be pressed between a bevel and a precut piece of glass and you’ll have a variety of shapes, sizes and colors to choose from. Participants will get a brief tutorial on how to press flowers, then they will learn how to use a glass grinder (if needed), a special trick to help keep the moisture out, how to copper foil, solder and then clean their pieces.Each participant will leave with a finished plant stake around 2.5”- 3” depending on the bevel picked.
Ages 15+. All students will need to sign a waiver prior to taking the course. STUDENTS MUST WEAR SHOES THAT COMPLETELY COVER FEET> Aprons are provided but it's advised to wear clothes that you would craft in.
