Hi! I’m Briana, the face behind So Many Flowers. After a few years gaining horticultural skills through working at gardens in the Caribbean, Virginia, Israel, and Wisconsin, I decided to use my talents to start a cut flower business. My inspiration and love for plants comes from many places, including working in the English cottage style gardens of Bunny Mellon, learning about Caribbean ethnobotanical uses of plants during my masters research, and working in my parents backyard gardens growing up in Wisconsin.

In 2020 I had my first flower growing season in my hometown of Madison, Wisconsin and in 2021 I relocated to the Hampton Roads area. The long growing season here means I am able to grow flowers from March-November, and in the fall and winter I love to create with dried flowers. I do everything from planting to harvesting to arranging, with occasional help from family and friends. I find working outside and caring for plants to be incredibly satisfying, and I also love the artistry that comes along with arranging and designing with flowers. My current favorite flowers are strawflower, gladiolus, and daffodils.
