I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit since I was a little kid, & have been creating things since I was old enough to scribble.
The earliest business venture I can recall:
I was about 8 years old, selling some ugly AF pony bead jewelry I made. I’m so grateful to the handful of passersby who took the time to boost my belief in my young self 🤗.
If any of you reading this are some of the kind souls who bought something from my “booth” (AKA: a card table in my driveway) in the tiny town of Dawson, IA in the ‘90s… omfg. Please say hi! I owe you a huge thank you! People like you are the reason I stop at every lemonade stand / kid boss biz I see.
Sweary Carrie Designs, LLC is an online-based biz from Iowa, USA. I obtained my LLC in November 2021 & opened my Etsy shop April Fools’ Day 2022 (no joke! 🥁💥)
Many of my goods are handmade right here in my home studio!
While I may be an F-bomb enthusiast, I can respect the fact that not everyone else is. You’ll find that some of my creations don’t actually have any swear words. But, you can be sure that everything I do was made with f*cking love!
I’m a full-time spreadsheet geek, by day! It is my dream to make my business my full-time job someday soon.
We believe in community over competition & love supporting other small businesses. Many items you’ll see on me & in my home are from other kick🍑ss makers I’ve come to know & love!
