The author of a biography about President James A. Garfield will present about Garfield’s life during the Presidential History Book Club’s January meeting at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. C.W. Goodyear, author of "President Garfield: From Radical to Unifier,” will attend the club’s meeting in person on Wednesday, Jan. 29, and present to the group.
The meeting is from noon to 1 p.m. in the museum auditorium, and participants are welcome to bring their lunch.

Goodyear graduated from Yale University in 2016 with a degree in global affairs. His first book project was a collaboration with former naval officer Chris Fussell.
He subsequently worked in Washington as a ghostwriter before beginning his work on the life of President Garfield. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
