Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn multiple methods of food preservation to make the most of your harvest! Thanks to a generous grant from Trident United Way, this workshop is free to all participants. You’ll have the opportunity to rotate through three different stations, each focusing on a unique preservation skill:
? Fermentation: Discover the art of fermenting vegetables and create your own jar to take home.
? Water Bath Canning: Learn the basics of canning fruits and vegetables to enjoy your produce year-round.
? Dehydration: Master the technique of dehydrating fruits, vegetables, and herbs for long-term storage.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your preserved goods and the knowledge to continue preserving at home. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your self-sufficiency and reduce food waste!
Each workshop will vary slightly but cover the same concepts. This event is FREE and open to the public. Registration required, limited spots available.
Thank you to our friends at Trident United Way to helping make this free event possible!
