About this Event
The holidays can bring up a whole host of emotions- ranging from excitement and nostalgia, to sadness, stress, and everything in between - especially for our newest moms. In this unique workshop, led by occupational therapist and yoga instructor, Vaishi Tallury, new moms (infants to 2 years of age) will have an opportunity to hold space for their feelings around the holidays while simultaneously building new coping skills to help them preserve their mental wellbeing while juggling the demands of the holiday season with a new baby.
The session will begin with a gentle yoga practice, accessible to moms of all abilities and skill-levels, followed by reflective activities to encourage introspection on their preferences, goals, and ideals for the holiday season. Moms will leave the session with actionable strategies they can implement right away to set boundaries, prioritize their own needs, and approach the holiday season with a sense of calm.
Our hope is for moms to enjoy a moment of rest and renewal during this session. We also know that new babies sometimes need to come along — infants in arms or carriers are welcome.
Plus, plan to get some holiday shopping off your to-do list with 10% off the entire shop before and after the session!
