Join the OPM Collections team in this hands-on workshop to learn how to keep your treasured textiles safe for years to come! Saturday, October 5 at 1 PMLearn the dos and don’ts of textile preservation while working with the pros! Then, take your new skills and resources home with you. This workshop is relevant for preserving textiles including quilts, wedding dresses and other clothing, embroidery, and other household textiles. To ensure their safety and due to limited space, please do not bring your treasured textile to this workshop.
Participants will receive one Preserving Memories preservation kit to take home. Your ticket also includes Museum admission on Saturday, October 5, 2024, so you can enjoy the historic textiles on exhibit in Sawyer Saga, Part III.
To ensure an exceptional participant experience, registration is limited to 12 participants.
