PEAT Outcome - professionalism, professional communication
OBJECTIVES
Most of us have to pitch to potential clients, or make a presentation to our own colleagues. Unfortunately many presentations fail to make a mark.
Bridget will introduce participants to some of the basic skills needed to engage with an audience and make an impact.
By the end of the 3 hours you will be able to:
- Look and sound confident
- Structure your material
- Get the interest of your audience
- Realise that making a presentation is more about YOU and less about Power Point
There will be an element of participation as speaking in public is a physical act and it is only when actually trying out Bridget`s techniques that you will really understand what is required.
PARTICIPANTS
Most of us have to make presentations as part of our work. If you feel that you don't have the full attention of your audience or you feel they are not following your argument then this course is for you whatever your experience. This is also the course for those of you who rely on Power Point rather than direct communication with your audience.
