Every fortnight from 22nd Jan for 4 sessions (I might keep booking the hall depending on attendance and enthusiasm)
DESCRIPTION
What is it? (Description in progress)
- We dance with a curated song list that I create, based on the tradition of conscious ecstatic dance, infused by the teachings I received in 2020 and 2022 and my experience as a conscious dancer, somatic practitioner and Life student.
- Presence In A Dance follows a structure that I have myself 'evolved' that allows the individual to arrive, connect with self, with space, others, then release and ultimately express their becoming through the dance. We end with a moment of integration. There is no facilitation.
- It is a solo experience within a group.
- Your movement interpretation is fully welcome.
- Partnering is welcome - with self-responsibility.
RULES
No Talk
No Facilitation
No Judgment
No Substance
Time: 6.45 pm - 8.15 pm
6.45 Opening circle, sharing names with presence, intention setting in silence
6.55 PM Dance starts
8.15 PM Closing circle
8.30 PM End. Back into the dance of Life.
COST
Donation suggested $10 or $15 to cover the cost of the venue
(More is appreciated and reinvested for the purpose of Dance)
