The East Regional Library is excited to host a children's educational event that celebrates the individuals who keep our community safe, thriving and connected. We're inviting local organizations—including fire departments, police departments, military personnel, farmers, medical responders and others—to join us in inspiring our youngest neighbors. The program will begin with an engaging story time where children will learn about the various roles and responsibilities of community helpers. Afterwards, children will have the opportunity to meet real-life helpers and explore the vehicles and tools they use every day—from fire trucks and police cars to tractors and ambulances.
