Has your child ever struggled with times of change, such as moving schools or a family bereavement?Join our experienced youth practitioners for an in-person workshop on the theme of change.
Learn how to help your child acknowledge and understand their feelings, and how you can be a safe space for them.
Together with our Head of Practice, Helen Goodchild, and Senior Practitioner, Lou Welch, we will explore:
✨The behaviours that reveal a young person is struggling.
✨The ‘big’ transitions in education and what they are like for young people.

✨How to make times of change more bearable.
Guests will also hear from Donna Oakes, Dorothy House Family Support Team, who will share insights into how to support young people with bereavement.
