Preparing to Serve:
A mental wellness approach for pre-missionaries
A 4-Week course where Pre-Missionaries will learn mental health skills in harmony with foundational and accurate Latter-Day Saint doctrine and teachings. Learn principles that will help with areas such as basic neuroscience, how to manage anxiety and depression, forgiveness, assertiveness, managing feelings of overwhelm and guilt, managing expectations, communication, etc. Could aid in helping qualify certain individuals for proselytizing missions. Case scenarios that missionaries typically encounter in reference to mental health will be illustrated during the teaching process.Instruction provided by a professional religious educator and a licensed therapist.
