About this Event
Preparing for avian influenza; Mandurah biosecurity workshop
This event is your chance to practice putting on and taking off personal protective equipment, as well as setting up biosecure areas, for avian influenza. It is a practical workshop, so sensible clothing (closed toe shoes, long pants) are recommended, however there are no hazardous materials being used.
Join us in the training room at PHCC (58 Sutton St). This event is perfect for Native Animal Rescue wildlife carers/volunteers, and other wildlife care groups or rangers in the Northern Perth region. Don't miss out!
Presented by Bethany Jackson, Senior Lecturer in Wildlife Health and Epidemiology, and Sarah Thorpe, RVN and graduating veterinarian, from Murdoch University.
