Turning Fiber into Yarn! Join us at the beautiful Piney Woods Farm for an exciting hands-on workshop where you'll learn the art of spinning fiber into beautiful yarn!
Have you ever wondered how fluffy wool, and silky alpaca transforms into cozy yarn for knitting or weaving? This event is your chance to discover the magic of the spinning wheel and unlock your creativity!
During this in-person workshop, our experienced instructor will guide you through the process step by step, from processing fibers to spinning them into yarn using traditional spinning wheels. You'll learn various spinning techniques, including drafting, plying, and finishing, to create yarns of different thicknesses and textures.
No prior experience is necessary. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some spinning knowledge, this workshop is designed to cater to all skill levels. Our friendly and supportive environment ensures that everyone feels comfortable and encouraged to explore their spinning potential.

This class will focus on blending different fibers, textures, and colors to create the perfect yarn for different projects!
Cancellation and Ticket Policy:
One ticket per individual. No splitting tickets.
In the event that a ticket holder needs to cancel their reservation at least 72 hours before class starts a refund minus the processing fee will be issued. Refunds/credits will not be issued to the ticket holder who requests a cancelation within 72 hours of the class start time or does not attend. If a participant is unable to come to class their supplies can be picked up at a later date
If less than 4 people enroll, the class will be cancelled, and a full refund will be issued.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, every dollar spent at Piney Woods Farm is for charitable purposes. Our sustainable approach to farming equips us to help supply our local communities with organic, nutrient-dense goods and produce—to date, we’ve donated over 100,000 pounds of produce to community food banks and other charitable organizations!
