You’ve prepared for birth—but what about the early postpartum days? In this two-part class, we’ll turn our attention to the often-overlooked 'fourth trimester'. Learn what to expect emotionally, how to build a solid support system, and how to set up a calming postpartum space. We’ll also cover how lactation works and what helps breastfeeding get off to a strong start.
Led by experienced doula and certified breastfeeding specialist Lacey Parr, this class is full of real-life insight and practical tools. You’ll leave feeling informed, empowered, and ready to welcome your baby with peace and confidence. Partners encouraged to attend (at no additional cost).
Students will gain:
-An understanding of the emotional landscape of postpartum
-Strategies for creating a supportive “postpartum nest”
-Tools to help breastfeeding begin smoothly
-A practical plan for rest, recovery, and connection
-Partner-inclusive ways to prepare and support the birthing parent
