Enjoy a nourishing practice that honors the unique needs of pregnancy, fosters a deeper connection with your growing baby, and prepares you for birth.
The movement in this class is created to support a pregnant body, as well as soothe and alleviate the common discomforts of pregnancy. Learn labor coping skills through the practice of yoga as you explore different postures and exercises to empower and prepare you for birth.
Class Structure: Our prenatal yoga class typically begins with a brief centering and grounding meditation and group introductions, followed by gentle warm-up exercises to release tension and prepare the body for movement. We'll then explore a series of prenatal yoga poses that focus on opening the hips, strengthening the pelvic floor, and relieving common pregnancy discomforts. Each class ends with a guided relaxation to promote rest and rejuvenation.
This class is suitable for beginners with no previous yoga experience. Modifications will be offered to accommodate individual needs and ensure a safe and comfortable practice for every participant.
