General Information:
The Premodern Grand Prix is a Charity event run by Philip “Flippi” Boehm.
It is a two-day event with Day 1 Premodern, followed by Boosterdrafts on Day 2 for a portion of the players from Day 1. Sideevents happen on Day 2 for everyone not qualified for Day 2 of the Mainevent.
Sideevents?
All sideevents are included in the registration fee for the mainevent:
Dandan Game, Tribal Wars, Big Apple Highlander, 2nd Chance Premodern. Artwork pieces for the winners of Sideevents.
Prizes?
Every participant will receive a Grand Prix promo card Call of the Herd.
Everyone who makes the Cut to Day 2 will get to draft two Boosterdrafts with Oldframe Boosterpacks!
The Top8 win a Call of the Herd artwork piece each.
The winner wins a cube. The cube is a budget Premodern cube. Every player of the mainevent is asked to sign one basicland. The basiclands will be provided and from various Premodern sets. No duplicates. Those will be the basiclands for the cube!
The value of the prizes is not intended to be the reason to participate.
Instead, it’s the overall experience. Rather than have big monetary prizes, this event is a charity event.
Charity?
Premodern Grand Prix Frankfurt is a charity event.
The collected funds will be donated to Integrative Drogenhilfe e.V.
The amount will be the income from entry fees minus costs for the venue, judges and prizes.
Additionally, there is an on-site raffle. You can buy raffle tickets if to possibly win cool prizes. The raffle prizes include merch from Premodern groups, a Giant Card Swords to Plowshares and other donations. If you wish to donate an item to the raffle, contact Flippi Boehm.
How do I register?
Registration is done through J.K. Entertainment at https://jk-events.de/premodern-grand-prix?slotId=e04311d213b84c68b9cbb216e477063c. It is the local LGS I also work for as my day job. Registration ends 2 days before the event. There is comfortable space for 350 players. Registration fee is 90€, it covers playing Day 1 and all Sideevents on Day 2.
