Elliot, un alcoolique retraité, se lance dans une quête désespérée pour retrouver son fils toxicomane, disparu depuis deux décennies. Il devra affronter ses propres démons au cours de son périple à travers l'Amérique française, où il rencontrera Bourk, un Acadien avec qui il formera une amitié improbable.
Elliot, a retired alcoholic, embarks on a desperate quest to find his drug-addicted son, who has been missing for two decades. Along his journey through French America, he must confront his own demons and forms an unlikely friendship with Bourk, an Acadian.
