Premiere Performances collaborates with Jazz at Lincoln Centre to bring the Ekep Nkwelle Quartet to Hong Kong!
American vocalist Ekep Nkwelle is a force in today’s jazz scene. Her captivating voice has earned her collaborations with jazz legends like Wynton Marsalis Dianne Reeves the late Russell Malone and more. She has performed on renowned stages including SFJAZZ NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Marians Jazzroom and the Umbria Jazz Festival. In 2023 she was honored with the Juilliard Career Advancement Grant a testament to her artistry and talent with Marsalis himself nominating her for this recognition.
Ekep Nkwelle will be touring with Sequoia Redwood (Piano) Russell Hall (Bass) and Anwar Marshall (Drums) as part of Jazz at Lincoln Centre on tour.
