North London Domino Championship – Who’s the Best?
This is the first and biggest domino event in North London, bringing together the top players to battle for glory, cash, and the crown.
The format is simple but intense:
- 20 teams of 2 players (40 competitors total).
- A league system where every team plays each other once.
- Points are earned each round to climb the table.
- The top 2 teams face off in the grand final for ultimate bragging rights.
Winners take home £500 cash + a trophy

Entry: £20 per person (£40 per team).
Tournament Rules
- First to 6 wins – no “one-one play two” and no broken games. Every match is straight up to six.
- League format – every team must play every other team once.
- Scoring system:
- A standard win (first to 6) = 1 point
- A 6–0 win (“six love”) = 3 points
- No points are deducted for losing.
- Each team must have an elected captain.
- Losers shuffle and shufflers draw last each round.
- Referees on every match – no talking, no signals, no coding between teammates.
- Failure to comply with a referee’s ruling will result in point deductions.
