Did you know? Around 10–20% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, and approximately 1 in 200–250 births is a stillbirth. Many parents experience these losses quietly, without space to grieve—and that’s why postpartum care and gentle holding matters.

Meet the Circle Hosts
Vera van Os – Founder of Tensia – Koester de Moeder & Heel.je.Geboorte. With deep experience and a gentle presence, Vera supports women in the tender weeks after birth, offering postpartum care, nourishment, and emotional holding, honoring miscarriage, abortion, or other forms of loss.
Through Heel je Geboorte, she guides adults in exploring their own birth stories. In sessions, workshops, and circles, she creates safe spaces where early experiences can be seen, felt, and integrated. At the heart of her work is a simple intention: to witness and support women, so they can soften, connect, and gently land in their own story.
Catarina Lapao – Integrative bodyworker, postpartum care provider, and death doula by life at WellHeld Mother. Catarina is a guide for women navigating the wild edges of life, birth, loss, and love, offering compassionate presence and gentle support.
Her work combines hands-on care, emotional holding, and intuitive guidance, helping women feel truly held in body, heart, and soul. She creates spaces where grief, joy, and transformation can be acknowledged and integrated, allowing women to connect deeply with themselves and their experiences.
