In collaboration with Catholic Cemeteries and Elizabeth Ministry, a special Pregnancy and Infant Loss Mass will be held on Oct. 18th at 2:30pm to honour the lives of infants and children who have passed at any age. At this Mass, families are invited to light a candle and place on the altar.Light refreshments will be available following the rosary walk (weather permitting) to the Jesus and the Children. Elizabeth Ministry volunteers will be at this Mass and reception to meet with bereaved families.
Elizabeth Ministry (EM) is an international movement rooted in the beliefs of the Catholic faith. In the archdiocese of Vancouver, members focus on offering peer support to bereaved families grieving the loss of young children, toddlers and infants of any age, from conception onward.
