In this seminar, Simone Mueller will present on new ways of managing predatory behaviour in dogs.Is hunting your dog’s favourite hobby? Instead of being the nagging factor who spoils the fun, start hunting together and grow as a team! Is your dog’s prey drive getting on your last nerve? Are you looking for enjoyable walks and lasting relief for your everyday life together? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could find a way to use the huge amount of motivation and pleasure that our dogs find in predatory behaviour for our training and to intensify our relationship with our dogs?
Most conventional training programs aim to interrupt and stop the dog’s predatory behaviour, either by a recall or by conditioned pain or fear. The problem common to both methods is that they work against the dog’s nature and what they actually want at this moment: go for a hunt!
This seminar is suitable for:
- Professional trainers or instructors looking for professional development and tools to support their students (CEUs available)
- Dog sport enthusiasts or keen dog owners looking to grow their understanding of their dog’s behaviour, improve their relationship, and work through their dog’s predatory behaviour.
