Join us on our three hour, Precious Metal Silver Clay Jewellery Making, Textures Workshop, and learn the fundamentals of creating your own beautiful solid silver jewellery.Guided by your instructor you’ll make approximately two pieces of solid silver jewellery. The number of pieces you make will be dependant upon the size you make your pieces. You will have access to all our different textures and texture mats, to create unique pieces of jewellery. What you choose to make (charms/pendants/earrings) is entirely up to you. Please note that ring making will not be covered during this workshop. You will learn the process of making jewellery with silver clay from start to finish. The first part of the day focusing upon how to handle, roll, shape and texture it, before drying and refining. The second part of the day will focus upon firing, polishing and learning how to patina. Your jewellery will be ready to take home with you on the day! Please note that using moulds or moulding making will not be covered within this workshop. Your designs will be textured using texture mats.
This workshop is aimed at those with no little or no experience of working with Silver Clay.
The workshop cost of £80 includes silver clay for your jewellery, use of tools and a sterling silver jump rings / earring wires.
