Precious Metal Silver Clay - Charm TasterJoin us on our fabulous Precious Metal Silver Clay - Charm Taster Workshop, where you will learn the process of making ONE charm with Precious Metal Silver Clay, from start to finish. You’ll learn how to handle, roll, shape and texture the silver clay, before drying and refining. You’ll then be shown how your jewellery is fired in the kiln, and finish the session by polishing your charm. Charm will be ready to take home with you at the end of the workshop!
(please note that no torch firing will be done in this session due the length of the workshop. If you want to experience torch firing then please book a place on either the half day or full day workshop)
What is Precious Metal Silver Clay?
Precious Metal Silver Clay is a truly magical material to work with! It is made up of millions of tiny particles of recycled silver, which is mixed with an organic binder and water, to make it into a material which can be easily shaped, moulded and textured, similar to pottery clay. Once fired, the binder burns away, resulting in a solid piece of silver! It is an exciting and addictive process, so be prepared to be hooked!

It is £50 per person.

You’ll make ONE small sized charm.

This taster workshop runs for one and a half hours.

What’s included in the price of the workshop?

What silver clay will I use during the workshop?
You will use Art Clay Fine Silver, which is 99.9% pure silver.
Anything else I need to know?
You may get a little dusty, so we will provide an apron for you to wear on the day. Please don't wear open toed shoes or sandals, and ensure long hair is tied back.
