This fun, creative workshop is the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty with precious metal clay. You will learn how to make textures and form shapes to create a bevy of beautiful bijou. You will be given 10 grams of metal clay to make as many pieces as you'd like, additional clay will be available for purchase. One pair of sterling silver ear wires and one pair of fine or sterling silver jump rings are included in the fee. Additional ear wires and other findings will be available to purchase.
From 10:00 AM until noon we will learn how to form the clay and will create your pieces. There will be a 1 hour lunch break from noon until 1:00. There are many restaurants of all types and price ranges within a mile or 2 of the studio. Or you are welcome to bring your lunch and eat in the studio. The pieces will be fired by the instructor during the lunch break. From 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, you will finish and polish your pieces and add any necessary findings. And away you go with your stash of fabulous frippery!
