About this Event
This event is a day and a half experience in which we will explore four sermon methods and models of preaching that will enhance your preaching ministry. As a proclaimer of the Good News, we are praying that God through the Holy Spirit will enrich, revive, and strengthen all who are in attendance.
Sponsored by the African American Fellowship of Virginia/Baptist General Association of Virginia/ASCENT in partnership with the Hentico Ministers' Conference and Vicinity, this day and a half experience is an opportunity for church planters, ministers, and pastors to increase their skill level in sermon preparation and delivery. Persons who sense a calling to preaching or want to learn various methods to share a Word from the Lord will benefit from this experience. The Preaching Camp will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church, 105 Lankford Ave, Charlottesville, VA, with continental breakfast and registration and will conclude at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
