Welcome to Call of the Woods! We organize weekly walks for exchange students, foreign students and expats. As a pre-season walk we are going to the Palava hills (20 km). We will cross a lake and climb the Palava hill to the ruins of Divci hrad. Then, we continue southward across the highlands, which give great views in all directions. The main break is after 12 km in a pub in Klentnice. When we finish in Mikulov, you can look around in the historic center.
MEETING TIME AND PLACE
We will meet at 9:00 in the hall of the main train station (near the stairs). We will take train S3 at 9:09 to Popice.
TICKETS
With a transport pass for zones 100+101 you will need a ticket of 4 zones. Otherwise, you will need a ticket for 6 zones. If you need help buying the ticket, come a bit earlier to the meeting point. The ticket for the way back we buy in Mikulov.
RETURN
Our planned return will be by bus from Mikulov at 18:38. If you want to spend more time in Mikulov, you can take the next bus at 20:38. The ticket for the way back you can buy in the bus/train, and the amount depends on which bus we take.
PS: A lot of climbing this time, but it will be rewarded with the best views! 🙂
