About this Event

It’s back! The Arlington ISD Pre-K and Kindergarten STEMtacular returns for its third year on Oct. 14.

And this year, we're partnering with the Fort Worth Museum of Science as they bring their Family STEAM Festival to our pre-K and kindergarten families. There will be lots of interactive experiences for families and live science demonstrations. Families will also be able to provide feedback at the end and receive free tickets to the museum.

While STEMtacular may not be a real word yet, the now-annual superhero-themed, STEM-infused event is exactly what the name says. It’s STEMtacular! And it’s free! So, get your little learners – and your whole family – dress up as superheroes, and come out to McNutt Elementary on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

“We’re so excited to have this opportunity to show how STEM impacts so many things,” said Arlington ISD early childhood director Dr. Jackeline Orsini. “We wanted to have something for everyone, and we think our STEMtacular does just that. It will be fun for the entire family.”

El STEMtacular de Prekínder y Kínder del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Arlington regresa por tercer año consecutivo el 14 de octubre.

Y este año, nos asociamos con el Museo de Ciencias de Fort Worth para llevar el Festival Familiar STEAM a nuestras familias de prekínder y kínder. Habrá muchas experiencias interactivas y demostraciones científicas en vivo. Las familias también podrán dar su opinión al final y recibir entradas gratuitas al museo.

Aunque STEMtacular aún no sea una palabra real, este evento anual con temática de superhéroes y lleno de STEM es justo lo que su nombre indica. ¡Es STEMtacular! ¡Y es gratis! Así que, disfracen a sus pequeños y a toda la familia de superhéroes y asistan a la Escuela Primaria McNutt el día martes 14 de octubre, de 6 a 8 p. m.“

Estamos muy emocionados de tener esta oportunidad de mostrar cómo las ciencias, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas (STEM) impactan tantas cosas”, dijo la Dra. Jackeline Orsini, directora de Educación Temprana del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Arlington. “Queríamos tener algo para todos, y creemos que nuestro STEMtacular lo consigue. Será divertido para toda la familia”.
