A Spiritual Practice of Gratitude
About this Event

As the season shifts and autumn invites us to pause and reflect, this is a beautiful time to ground ourselves in gratitude. In this interactive session, we’ll explore the creative and contemplative practice of Praying with Color, inspired by Sybil Macbeth’s book, Praying in Color.

This prayer practice invites you to express your gratitude visually—through drawing, doodling, and coloring—offering a meaningful way to connect with the divine when words may not feel sufficient. Whether you are looking to cultivate thankfulness, explore a new way to pray, or simply make space for quiet reflection, this session will provide an open, welcoming space to do so.

No artistic skill required! We’ll combine gentle guidance with time for self-directed exploration, allowing each person to discover how this practice might weave into their own rhythm of gratitude.

All materials, including paper and coloring pencils, will be provided. If you have favorite supplies, feel free to bring them along.
