Prashant & Peter play Duo versions of songs by: The Band, Blind Faith, Crosby Stills Nash, Gerry Garcia, Neil Young
Bob Marley, Keb Mo, Van Morrison, Tom Waits, Led Zeppelin,Beatles,Pink Floyd , Blue Rodeo, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix. and more.
A few years ago, Sandy, the Bass player of the Celtic band, Morrissey's Private Stock, and I, started getting together regularly and practising some great songs from days gone by.
Then we added fiddler and singer, Peter Feldstein. Peter performs with Squidjigger, a Montreal based band.
We hit it off as a trio and enjoyed rehearsing regularly - three-part harmonies and all.
Last year, our trio played a gig and were brainstorming for a name when, very sadly, Sandy was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage four cancer. He left the trio and this world within a week.
Peter and I had to regroup as a duo (so far) and keep Sandy's project going.
We really enjoy it and hope folks we play for do too.
