Poet and spirit-forward storyteller, Jade Flower Foster is popping up at small businesses around Baltimore to offer custom, typewriter praise poems to guests and community members in celebration of National Poetry Month.

About Typewriter Poetry: Jade Flower creates ‘praise poems’ in real time on her vintage typewriter. First, the guest tells a story or feeling. Then, Jade Flower creates the poem on the spot on fine cotton cards. Finally, the guest gets to keep the poem and moment forever. Whether it’s a tribute to a loved one, a personal reflection, or something to shake loose– each praise poem is more than just words on paper, it’s an offering.
