Our cornerstone culinary event series is back for 2022!
Presented by Rise Up Calgary, Eat North and Carter Cadillac, will see five chefs from Edmonton and Calgary collaborative on a multi-course dinner menu complemented by interesting cocktails made with Prairie-produced spirits, short food films, photography, music and more.
FOOD
The nightly 4-course dinner menus will draw inspiration from stunning photographs of Prairie landscapes and cityscapes. In collaboration with local filmmaker Vicki Van Chau, attendees will have the opportunity to watch a selection of short food films throughout the evening that celebrate Canadian-grown ingredients and the chefs that transform them into dynamic dishes.
Oct. 21 chefs: Amit Bangar (Calcutta Cricket Club, Calgary), Winnie Chen (Fu's Repair Shop, Edmonton), Jason Barton-Browne (Deane House, Calgary)
Oct. 22 chefs: Duncan Ly (Foreign Concept), Bri Campbell (May at the Art Gallery of Alberta), Amit Bangar (Calcutta Cricket Club, Calgary)
DRINKS
Local bartender Anna da Silva will be creating 4 unique cocktails inspired by Prairie images, made with Prairie spirits and ingredients. Cocktails will be available to order as well as a selection of beer, cider and more.
Ticketholders can expect:
-welcome cocktail and canapes
-live acoustic music during cocktail hour (6:30PM-7:30PM)
-4-course dinner (starts promptly at 7:30PM)
-viewings of interesting short food films over the course of the evening.
-great times all 'round!
