About this Event
Bridging the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with the functional movement of yoga to support whole-body health. Each session, we’ll explore one of the major acupuncture channel yin/yang pairs through targeted postures, breathwork, and guided acupressure techniques.
January's element: Welcome the rising energy of the Wood element - the initial spark of Yang. In this session, we’ll blend information sharing with intentional movement to explore how the Liver and Gallbladder meridians support growth, vision, and forward momentum. Through dynamic stretching, expansive postures, and breathwork that clears stagnation, we’ll tap into renewal, clarity, and the courage to take the next step.
Rooted in the Five Element framework, the meridians connect deeply with our physical, emotional, and energetic systems. Each channel holds its own unique patterns, strengths, and imbalances. By activating these pathways through familiar yoga poses and specific acupoints, we’ll work to enhance qi flow, support emotional regulation, and improve overall vitality.
Led by Amber Reding-Gazzini - a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine - this series offers an integrative, therapeutic approach to movement and self-care. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of your body’s energetic map and leave with practical tools for ongoing balance and resilience.
