The 3-Day Practical Pistol Course begins with a focus on the fundamentals of shooting, where participants will learn proper grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and recoil management to build a strong foundation for accurate and consistent shooting. On the second day, the training shifts to dynamic shooting, teaching students how to engage targets while on the move, and improving mobility and adaptability in real-life scenarios. The final day covers the essentials of concealed carry, including drawing from concealment, target engagement under pressure, and enhancing situational awareness for effective self-defense.TOPICS TO BE COVERED IN THE PRACTICAL PISTOL COURSE
DAY 1
Characteristics of the Glock
Firearms and range safety rules.
Proper holster, and mag pouches placement
Fundamentals of shooting such as pistol grip, rifle grip, shooting stance, sights alignment, sight picture, proper trigger manipulation, breathing, follow-trough
Ready positions. High, and Low Ready
Reloads - slide lock reloads (known commonly as emergency reloads).
Recoil management - we will give you useful tips to improve the recoil management
Multiple shots - we will teach you how to do fast, and accurate double taps, and multiple shots.
Day 2
Tactical reload - reload with retention
Move/Stop/Shoot techniques
Shooting on the move
Shooting to directions
Shooting to directions on the move
Engaging multiple targets statically, and on the move
Location changing and engaging with a pistol
Day 3.
Introduction to Concealed Carry Techniques
Dry practice of Concealed Carry Draw
Live fire practice with CCW techniques
The use of Cover/Concealment
Real-live scenarios with the use of Concealed Carry techniques
Debrief
Certification
WEAPONS: GLOCK 17/19/19X/45
AMMUNITION: 9mm – 500 rounds. Depends on group skills and progress.
SKILL PERQUISITES: None. The candidate does not have to possess prior experience with Firearms.
WHAT TO BRING (Mandatory)?: Tactical or outdoor pants with loops to facilitate a 40mm wide belt, 40mm wide tactical belt, and tactical gloves.
