Prabhat Film Company was established on the 1st of June 1929 in Kolhapur by Vishnupant Damle, V. Shantaram, Sahebmama Fattelal, Keshavrao Dhayber and Seetaram Kulkarni. Further, It was moved to Pune in 1933. The films produced by The Prabhat Film Company not only had entertainment but also spread the word about human values and social reforms. Ayodhecha Raja, Shejari, Manaus, Kunku, Dharmatma, Sant Tukaram, Sant Dnyaneshwar, and Ramshastri are some of the major Hits by Prabhat. Prabhat's popular songs which have covered a journey of more than 90 years, now will be performed.
