We're inviting YOU, our members to come out for a FREE PR EVENT on January 9, 2026, from 6pm - 8pm to try for a new personal record, or to see what your current PR is. Lifts tested will be dead lift, back squat, and chest press. And for funsies, let's throw in a test for fastest 25 calories on the bike - maybe there will be some prizes... Participants do not have to do all exercises; you may pick and choose. The idea of this is to be able to safely push your limit with a dedicated spotter to guide you.For the safety of all participants, you will first need to prove that you can already lift 80% of your anticipated PR alone/with minimal spotting. RI does not advocate poor form, pushing limits so far you become injured, or lifting too heavy without a spot.
