How to Get Your Creative Juices Flowing When You’re Having Hard Times and Still Need to Run a Business
Description:
Running a creative business is challenging on a good day—but when life gets heavy, staying inspired can feel impossible. In this heartfelt and practical session, we’ll explore what it means to show up for your business when joy and motivation are hard to find. You’ll learn simple, honest strategies for reigniting your creativity, shifting your mindset, and rediscovering the passion that first drew you to photography. We’ll talk about how to find purpose in the hard seasons, use your story to connect with others, and gently nurture your creative spark—even when it feels dim. This is for any photographer who’s ever hit a wall and needed a way back to themselves and their art.
I’m Misty Westebbe—a photographer with a passion for creating meaningful portraits that reflect who you are. As a mother, grandmother, and fur-mom, I bring patience, joy, and a knack for storytelling to every session. Whether I’m helping a teen feel confident in front of the camera or capturing a family’s laughter, my goal is always the same: to create something honest and worthy of your walls. My husband Bruce and I run the business together, He’s the man behind the curtain—constantly crafting and maintaining the beautiful outdoor areas and vignettes that make our portrait experiences so unique.
