For any comics/graphic novel creatives- especially if you're looking for online tools to help create your work- please feel free to come to the launch party for my new comic series Powerscape this FRIDAY, August 29th, from 3-6pm at Trees Cafe 255 E Broadway (corner of Main). We'll be celebrating the release of Issue 1 with art by Stefan Tosheff, Rasheed Banda, and Cindy Leong, as well as the launch of our Zoop crowdfunding page ([https://zoop.gg/c/powerscape-issues-2-3]
Additionally, our colleagues at Runtime Data will do a presentation of our original graphic novel text dev tool that you can lease through a subscription on the Powerscape Patreon page. This is a quick and easy way to not only create text balloons over your artwork, but experiment and explore with all kinds of fonts and formats for your graphic novel text.
We'll also be doing a raffle of merch, and a play test of the Powerscape card game, featuring original characters from the comic's storyworld, with a rare limited card as the grand prize!
