?Our weekly BLAST around Penwortham. This walk is a FITNESS walk. Some weeks may focus on speed, other’s terrain or ascent. Ground may be undulating across fields, inc steps, slopes, and stiles, in winter it will be along pavements. May be muddy in places, be aware there may be nettles and live stock in fields.
?The POWER WALK is a great fitness walk. Its much quicker than the average walking speed. Do not underestimate this. You must be fit for it! Please try a BRISK WALK first, or time yourself walking (including stopping for traffic etc) to get average speed before joining
?Each walk is approximately 1.5hrs and 8-9km (5-6miles) long but this varies week to week.
⏱️Our average pace is 9-10.5min/km (3.5- 4mph) so please be aware, and ensure your fitness is suitable for this.
??☔Dress appropriately for outdoor fitness, suitable sport not fashion trainers/boots, waterproofs and/or sun protection if needed. ?
? Unfortunately because of the speed of this walk, we can’t accommodate dogs due to potential trip hazard.
