What you will be doing in the workshop:

- Create an initial Value proposition Canvas and mission statement

- Create an initial Strategy Canvas

- Evaluate your customer touch points

- Evaluate what data to collect and use

What will attendees take away from the session:

- Companies will come away with a series of specific growth strategies that can help them to plan for growth and stability.

- Companies will understand their position in their specific sector and will be able to see gaps and opportunities in the market

- Companies will be able to clearly see areas for improvement in their client facing collateral

Who should attend:

- Business owners of Digital, Creative & Tech products and services in Greater Manchester.

- Minimum of 1 FTE (No sole traders)

- Types of business:

SaaS / IT / Cyber Security / App builders / Videographers and Editors / Creative and digital agencies / Gaming developers / tech platforms

Ian W Dixon

A highly experienced, results-focused, and analytical Digital Growth Specialist with experience of both private and public sector businesses. I have supported businesses ranging from pre-revenue startup to enterprise businesses trading internationally.

I have a range of business tools and strategies that are designed to understand the problem and create a commercially viable solution.

I act as a critical friend, mentor, and trusted advisor and get alongside the businesses that I support to understand their world view, rather than imposing mine.

In my recent past I have focused on tech startup companies, which led me to working with some truly innovative businesses in UK. Europe, USA, and Southeast Asia.

My role within the DCT team allows me to use my range of experience and knowledge to help grow The Greater Manchester economy and ecosystem.

Most recently, I worked in-house for the UK’s largest specialist family law firm, where I strategised and rolled out a conversation rate optimisation framework.

As part of the DCT team, I am able to tap into my previous experience to help local businesses grow.
