Power Under Pressure

Power Under Pressure is a 3-hour Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) workshop designed to help you return to yourself in the midst of fear, anger and feeling overwhelmed. Through guided practice, gentle coaching, and trauma-informed tools, you’ll learn how to feel the surge and stay present without getting swept away.
ESD is an evidenced-based violence prevention approach. It teaches individuals to interrupt violence by listening to their intuition, assessing the situation, setting boundaries, using de-escalation strategies; and providing tools for a range of verbal and physical responses.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
• Notice the early signs of emotional or physical activation
• Pause before fight, flight, freeze, or fawn take over
• Reset your nervous system in real time
• Stand tall without escalating conflict
• Respond from values and clarity, rather than panic or adrenaline
• Access a grounded, embodied sense of power you can trust
