About this Event
The Power of the Purse was born to raise awareness and fund to support Branch County United Way effort to supply free books to area children from birth to age five through The Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Funds from this event go to cover the complete cost to families regardless of their income level. All additional funds raised go towards assisting the 26 agencies supported by BCUW which assist with education, income and health in our area. All funds stay local.

Info: Purses will be wrapped this year to help ensure that no items are misplaced or mixed up with other purses.
WAYS TO WIN
Info: Purse Raffle Tickets Tickets are available throughout the lobby and inside the event. $20 for 10 tickets Place tickets in the bowl for the purses you want to win. All purses are donated by over 90 local businesses and individuals. Cash only Power Purse This special purse is the event’s grand prize — a Tory Burch purse and matching wallet, along with $1,000 in cash, sponsored by Sekisui Voltek. Separate tickets are available for this raffle: $20 for 7 tickets $10 for 3 tickets $5 per ticket The Power Purse will be drawn during the evening event as the final drawing. You do not need to be present to win. 50/50 Raffle Tickets Tickets are $10 each. One lucky winner will take home 50% of the total earnings at the end of the night. First and Last Chance Purses These will be the first and last drawings at both lunch and dinner. Anyone attending the lunch or dinner event is eligible to win the First Chance drawings.
IMPORTANT NOTES / RULES
Info: Attendees must be 21 years or older to attend the lunch or dinner events. Those under 21 may attend the Fast Pass event. We reserve the right to request ID verification due to alcohol being served. Any attendee who becomes disruptive, vulgar, or fails to follow event rules will be asked to leave immediately. No smoking or vaping is allowed indoors.
