Alzheimer’s prevention starts in the kitchen! In class, you’ll learn easy steps you can take to lower your risk of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Also, you’ll learn about the role of unhealthy fats and heavy metals which can be detrimental to brain health, and how to avoid them. Class includes printed recipes, nutrition information, demonstration and food samples. Your instructor, Katherine Lawrence is a Cornell & Stanford-trained nutritionist who has taught over 20,000 students in North Texas and owns a non-profit focused on bringing powerful nutrition information to the community.
