In this hands-on class the instructor will take each student step by step from a block of hardwood to their own hand made wooden spoon! the instructor has carved dozens of spoons, some of which they will bring in as examples. The class will also cover spoon design, wood choice, and how to finish wooden spoons. Each student is responsible for supplying their own power carver, carving bits/burrs, safety glasses and hearing protection.
