Join us at MITT Pow Wow to honour our Indigenous students and their educational journeys at MITT. The event is open to the public, and all are invited to attend and participate. Program:
- 11 a.m. Pipe Ceremony and Lighting of the Qulliq
- Noon Grand Entry
- Honouring of Graduates
- 5 p.m. Feast and Métis Fiddler
Pow Wow includes a variety of activities throughout the day, including drumming and dancing. Indigenous vendors and crafters will also be on-site selling a variety of items, from jewelry to artwork.
Drum group participation is by invite only, but dancers are welcome to attend and participate. Dancer registration will be on site.
