Gonsalves, an Air Force veteran & former POW while working as a government contractor, along with Keith Stansell, Tom Howes, & Thomas Janis, all United States citizens, and Sergeant Luis Alcides Cruz, a Colombian citizen, were seized on Feb. 13, 2003, by the FARC, after their single-engine aircraft made a crash landing in the Colombian jungle. Marc will talk about his experience being held by the FARC in Colombia, writing his book Out of Captivity, & what POW MIA Remembrance Day means to him. Then join us for the POW MIA remembrance ceremony, narrated by Amanda Mocanu.
