About this Event
You are invited to participate in a unique and eye-opening experience. This hands-on, immersive event is designed to give community leaders and decisions makers like you an understanding of the daily struggles faced by individuals living in poverty.
This event allows participants to imagine walking a month in the shoes of someone who is facing poverty and to realize how complex and interconnected issues of poverty really are. The goal is to help community leaders better understand the barriers that individuals and families face as you create policies and make decisions that will impact the population you serve.
We hope you will join us in this impactful experience.
Snacks will be provided from 12:30 -1:30.

Parking information:
Although the physical address is 201 Washington Street, GoggleWorks’ main entrance is located off of Stone Alley, the opposite side of the building from Washington Street. You can enter their free public parking lot from 2nd Street, Walnut Street, or 3rd Street. While there is both a parking lot and a parking garage located on Washington Street across from their building, neither of these parking options are operated by GoggleWorks and they encourage visitors to use their free lot.
