January is Poverty Awareness Month.
Join Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis to discuss the impact of poverty in our communities. A panel of experts (see below under the "Speakers" section for more details) will address the reality of poverty impacting our seniors, children, veterans, and those living within our urban & rural communities.
Doors open at 5:30 to allow ample time for participants to visit with community organizations serving people affected by poverty and howto partner with them in their work. Over 20 organizations from across Central and Southern Indiana will be represented!
Refreshments will be provided.
Walk-ins welcome.
Free parking is located in the lot behind the Catholic Center along Illinois Street.
